We move furniture out of the way, cover floor vents and ensure the space is prepared to protect the rest of your home during the sanding process.
The drum sander removes the existing finish and thin layer of wood, stripping the floor back to raw wood. We also do edge work along walls and in corners using a detailed floor sander so you get consistent results throughout the room.

Solid hardwood flooring can be refinished multiple times throughout their lifespan. Meanwhile, engineered hardwood floors can be refinished, but it’s difficult because of their beveled edges. The hardwood veneer top makes a difference because very thin engineered hardwood floors have already been sanded multiple times and often don’t have enough wood left for additional refinishing. Solid hardwood floors can usually be refinished eight to ten times over their lifetime, but it depends on the thickness of the planks.
